Founded by Lauri Pipinen, Good Life began as a coffee bar in Helsinki in 2012 and started roasting in 2014 with the aim of bringing a quality-focused, transparent roastery to Finland. Pipinen’s competition pedigree (Finnish Barista Champion 2011) and coffee bar roots shaped a house style built on clean, light roasts, single-origin selections, and clear producer storytelling. In recent years the roastery has been run by a tight team including Aleksi Kuusijärvi and head roaster Richard Shannon, continuing the same clarity-first approach.
